QUILTS, KNITS, AND OTHER PROJECTS 2024

First quilt for 2024.
This was started as a Quiltmania magazine mystery quilt by the late Di Ford, in 2014
I worked on it on and off, finally finishing the binding in Feb. 2024.
It is hand applique, with broderie perse. Machine pieced.
Hand and machine quilted.
MarciaStrickland fixed a wonky problem on the last pieced border on her longarm machine.

When John was in Holland for his sister's funeral in 2008, he brought back some glazed chintz reproduction fabrics.
The original chintzes were made during the 18th century on the Coromandel coast of India,
and brought to Holland by ships' captains for their wives and friends.
Top finished 18 March 2012. Machine pieced, and quilted on the longarm by Marcia Strickland.
